EVALUATION

Traditional Patience, also referred to as Klondike, is an enduring solitary card game that is adored for its simplicity and strategic elements. Utilizing a standard deck of cards, players must construct four foundation piles, one for each suit, arranged in ascending order from Ace to King. Success in this game hinges on thoughtfully planning moves and strategically uncovering hidden cards to complete the tableau.


GUIDELINES

  1. Initial Setup:
  • Begin by arranging a shuffled deck into seven columns.
  • The first column starts with one card facing upwards, the second column has two cards (one facing upwards, the other facing downwards), and this pattern continues until the seventh column which contains seven cards (all facing upwards).
  1. Gameplay:
  • Building the Tableau: Arrange cards in descending order (from King to Ace) while alternating colors (e.g. place a Red 7 on top of a Black 8).
  • Revealing Cards: Reposition face-up cards to unveil hidden ones beneath.
  • Transferring to the Foundation: Transfer cards to the four foundation piles, sorted by suit and arranged in ascending order (from Ace to King).
  • If there are no available moves in the tableau, draw cards from the Stock Pile.
  1. Objective:
  • The objective is to successfully organize all cards into the foundation piles in order to win the game.
